Bhupathi and Bopanna Eliminated in Tennis
The Indian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna lost 3-6, 4-6 to Richard Gasquet and Julien Benneteau in the second round of the Olympics on Tuesday. The Indian pair, seeded seventh, were not able to win against the French duo who were unseeded.

It was a struggle from the beginning for the Bhupathi and Bopanna. They had to fight with the All India Tennis Association (AITA) before they were even able to play together in the Olympics.

They were victorious against Max Mirnyi and Alexander Bury from Belarus in the first round .The scores for that round were 7-6 (7-4), 6-7 (4-7), and 8-6 in an extra-long match that lasted nearly two and half hours.

They were hoping for the best on Tuesday, but unfortunately they were unable to pull out a victory for the second round. The competitors were just too fierce.

The other pair from India of Leander Paes and Vishnu Vardhan will have to wait just a little more time before they can complete their second round match. They were scheduled to compete against Michael Llodra and Jo Wilfried Tsonga of France, but their match was postponed.

In the mixed doubles, Saina and Paes have been drawn to compete against Nenad Zimonjic and Ana Ivanovic of Serbia. They are scheduled to play on Wednesday. They, along with many other Olympians, will be playing for their shot at the gold. You can go for the gold now, and shop for some stunning traditional jewellery made from gold on Diamond Rocks.
